Marshawn Harris is a dedicated and accomplished Independent Insurance Broker with over twenty years of experience in the insurance industry. She is the proud owner of Bay Area Quality Insurance Services in San Leandro, CA. Marshawn earned her Bachelor of Sciences with an emphasis in Finance from Fisk University and her MBA from the University of San Francisco.
Throughout her career, Marshawn has become a seasoned multi-line insurance agent, specializing in health, property/casualty, and life insurance business. In 2013, she decided to focus her insurance practice on health insurance, specializing in Covered CA and community outreach. Marshawn is a certified Covered California Agent as well as a member of the Covered CA Agent Roundtable and the Marketing, Outreach, and Enrollment Assistance (MOEA) Advisory Group.
As a former Consultant for Health and Human Resource Education Center (HHREC), Marshawn has worked on multiple community events and has coordinated several health fairs since 2014. She now serves as an HHREC Board member. Marshawn is committed to helping new clients meet their insurance goals and supporting current clients in maintaining a stable financial foundation.
Marshawn also serves as President of the CA Certified African-American Insurance Roundtable, highlighting her dedication to promoting diversity and inclusivity in the insurance industry. With a deep-rooted commitment to providing quality insurance services, Marshawn approaches every client interaction with respect and a tailored approach, regardless of their economic status.
Marshawn Harris currently resides in the beautiful city of Oakland, CA, and is excited to continue her work in helping individuals and families meet their insurance needs.
